Whitgift House Sheltered Housing
Nestled within the beautiful grounds of Whitgift School, those living at Whitgift House apartments live under their own care in a gated community where help and companionship are never far away.
Within our safe and secure environment, residents here enjoy a high quality of residential care and respite care. They are encouraged to take part in the many day trips and activities organised by staff to keep residents mentally and physically active. With handrails and ramps throughout the home, the facilities are highly accessible – to encourage residents to explore the home independently and make use of its many rooms and tastefully decorated modern facilities.

Being looked after
Residents at Whitgift House sheltered apartments live under their own care in self-catered accommodation. However, staff are on duty seven days a week to deal with any problems at the property and to give residents a hand with daily life when they need.
And should they need help urgently outside of duty hours, they can trigger their pendant alarm to access our Careline and get the help they need. There is also a dedicated GP who visits weekly. Of course, residents are welcome to continue to be seen by their own GP if they prefer.
