The South Croydon care home has received the highest possible award of ‘Beacon Status’ by the Gold Standards Framework in Care Homes (GSFCH) Reaccredited Quality Hallmark Award, three years after they were first recognised, for the excellent way they care for their residents.

Good conversation and music filled the Whitgift Almshouses in North End for its annual charity Garden Party on Saturday 31 August. Generations united as congregations from local churches, Almshouses residents and their families enjoyed a sunny afternoon in the 400 year old courtyard at one of Croydon’s oldest buildings.
